From one car in Agadir to Morocco's private chauffeur network.

Bacharide began on a quiet morning at Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA). The fleet was a single black Mercedes E-Class. The team was one Moroccan driver who spoke fluent English and French, and a founder answering WhatsApp messages from his phone. There was no office, no dispatcher, no marketing budget — just a sign with a guest's name on it, on time, every time.

The idea was a reaction to what private transfers in Morocco had become: opaque pricing at arrivals, drivers sourced from rotating taxi pools, no accountability when a flight landed late. The founding promise was simple and stubborn — every transfer would be priced upfront in writing, met with a name sign at arrivals, and driven by a salaried chauffeur trained by us. Never a marketplace match-up. Never a surge price.

Word travelled the way it always does in Agadir — guest to guest, riad to riad, surf camp to surf camp. Within twelve months the single car became three, then five, then a small fleet running daily transfers up and down the Souss-Massa coast.

By 2021 the operation had outgrown its informal beginnings. To carry guests legally between regions — Agadir to Marrakech, Marrakech to the Sahara, Casablanca to Fes — Morocco requires a tourism transport licence issued by the Ministry of Tourism (ONMT) and a registered transport company.

We incorporated as Bacha Way Travel SARL, a Moroccan limited liability company headquartered in Agadir, and applied for the full transport touristique licence. With incorporation came real infrastructure: a dispatch office, insured and inspected vehicles, background-checked drivers on payroll with social cover, and a 24/7 operations line in English, French and Arabic.

The brand stayed the same — Bacharide — but the company behind it was now a regulated Moroccan tour-transport operator. That distinction matters: in Morocco, the difference between a licensed transfer and a street taxi is the difference between an insured guest and a guest with no recourse if anything goes wrong.

Expansion didn't mean opening branches. It meant keeping every chauffeur, every vehicle and every WhatsApp message running through one room in Agadir. Centralised dispatch is the only way we know to guarantee that the driver who meets you at Marrakech-Menara at 02:40 is held to the same standard as the driver waiting at Casablanca-Mohammed V at 09:00.

Today the network covers:

• 7 international airports — Agadir (AGA), Marrakech (RAK), Casablanca (CMN), Fes (FEZ), Tangier (TNG), Rabat (RBA), Essaouira (ESU).
• 12+ cities — from Tangier in the north to Ouarzazate, Merzouga and the Sahara in the south-east; from Essaouira on the Atlantic to Fes and Meknes in the imperial interior.
• Door-to-door private transfers, intercity routes, day tours and multi-day itineraries — all dispatched from the same operations team.

Every flight is monitored. Every pickup is confirmed by the chauffeur on arrival at the rendezvous point. Every guest gets a direct WhatsApp line to Agadir for as long as they're in the car.

As bookings came in from agencies, hotel groups and corporate travel desks in Europe, the UK, the Gulf and North America, we needed a structure built for international contracting, multi-currency invoicing and B2B partnership agreements that go beyond a single Moroccan SARL.

In response, we established Bacharide LLC as the brand and commercial parent of the operation. Bacharide LLC is a registered company in the United States of America, which gives our international guests, partners and payment processors the legal clarity and consumer protections of a US-registered business.

Bacha Way Travel SARL remains the licensed Moroccan transport company that operates every vehicle on the ground — every driver, every kilometre, every airport pickup inside the Kingdom is still run by the same Agadir-based team, under the same ONMT licence, with the same insurance.
